About The Company

Tanabe Research Laboratories U.S.A., Inc. (TRL), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharmaceutical Company (MTPC), headquartered in Osaka, Japan. The TRL research staff is highly skilled in biology, pharmacology and medicinal, organic synthetic, computational and analytical chemistry while working in a collaborative environment to discover pharmaceutical products. TRL’s staff is focused on small molecule drug discovery. We are committed to enriching MTPC's product pipeline by empowering our scientific team to discover lead drug candidates for novel targets in the areas of inflammation, autoimmunity and metabolic syndrome. TRL has developed programs that are in preclinical development with MTPC and in the clinic in collaborations with GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis.
